Played 2 quick tournaments and didn't get in the money in either one. It also dropped my chip count below 500K, so I will have to play some more games later on in the week to try to get it up past 500K.

Happy New Year

I just want to wish everyone a Happy New Year and also want to wish my mom Happy Birthday (yes, she was a New Year's Baby).

I played 3 times today, and made the final table twice. And as you can see, I have made it over the 500K chip mark; hopefully, I will be able to keep climbing and make it to 1 million someday.

Unless otherwise stated, the buy-in for each tournament is 2,000+110 chips and has a total of 45 players. I felt I was always repeating myself since it was always the same buy-in and number of players. This way, it looks less cluttered, to me anyways.

It is back to work for me tomorrow, hopefully it won't be too busy; but I am sure it will be.

End of the Year

Again, I have been remiss on updating this blog; ita has been 2 months since I have made my last post. Not like I have had many people stand up and take notice, or have emailed me to wonder what had happened.

Anyways, I have been still been playing on pokerstar, just haven't been posting my results on here. I have yellow stickies on my desk with the results of the past 2 months of playing time and I guess it is time to post them up on here.

I think I will skip the graphs of the last few months of playing time and just concentrate on the results of the last 2 months of playing time.

In 2007, I plan trying to get up to a chip count of 750,000 chips. I also plan on posting more often. I know I have said that a few times before, but this time, I really mean it (LOL). I will also add a new stat on here: how many hands I played per game, which will give me an insight on how many hands have been dealt to me in any given game.

I am also thinking of adding some additional links to the side, maybe to some poker sites. Don't when I will do that, but I am sure it will be in the next few weeks.

December was a much more productive month, with 1 first place finish and 2 second place finishes and a total of 7 final table appearances and 6 money finishes.

So, in conclusion, I will try to update this blog more often, with at least 2 to 3 posts per week --- hopefully :)

Been a long time...

Hey everyone, sorry that I haven't updated my blog in over a month. I have lots of lame excuses and here they are: I took three weeks off of work in Sepetember. I did spend some time playing at pokerstars, but I was in a drought. I was pretty discouraged and didn't feel like posting my results (I wasn't in the money 8 games in a row). Also, during my vacation, I travelled to Missouri for a week to meet up with some friends. I had an ok time but I think I will not return there again in the near future.

To put plainly, I guess I just wasn't in the mood to post for a while, but I still kept playing poker and kept track of my results. I turned it around in mid-October and I have been playing pretty well since then with 3 first place finishes, inlcuding back to back wins just this weekend (netting me a cool 31,500 chips for each win), for a total of 4 wins in 2 months - I won a tournament in early September. So with my poker game seemingly back on track, I am returning to post the rest of my games I have played in September and October.

Now I think it would be much easier to lump the September and October stats together and I plan on doing that right after Hollowe'en. So without further ado, here is the mighty list of games I played since my last games in early September.

August Stats

Here are my stats for August. I haven't been around to publish them yet since I have been pretty lazy on my vacation. I will try to keep it more up to date. I know I have been saying this for the past little while, but this time I mean it (yeah, yeah...)

Again, I didn't play too many games in August, but I did make it to the final table in more than 50% of the time. I also tried an experiment: I tried my first 10,000 + 325 tournament with only 18 players. Although I did make it to the final table, I finished 7th, but only the top 4 paid out. So I will not attempt that in the near future.

I didn't do too well when I did get to the final tables. I didn't get any first place victories, nor any third place ones. I did manage to get 2 second place finishes though.

I never got my 10K back from nerissa1, oh well, thems the breaks. I also haven't done too well in games after my first place win on September 4th. More details in my next posting.

Vacation Time!

After today, I am going on a 3 week vacation away from work! Not sure if I will be doing any travelling yet, but it is looking more and more of a possibility. I will still be playing poker and I will still be posting results from time to time. I also have to post up the results from August, which I will do during the weekend.
